In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. The international governing body of the Seventh-day Adventist Church reached out to Adventist colleges in North America and Europe, asking if they could help displaced Ukrainian students whose educations were disrupted by the invasion.

Kettering College opened its doors (and hearts) to 34 Ukrainian students whose tuition, room and board, textbooks, and other expenses were paid in full by the generosity of the Kettering Health Foundation and individual donors.

Kettering Health Miamisburg, Kettering Behavioral Medical Center, and Kettering Health Franklin recently helped package and provide shoes to deliver to elementary school children in Franklin, Ohio. They teamed up with Shoes 4 the Shoeless to give an essential gift that many of us don’t give a second thought about: a new pair of shoes. Programs like this allow Kettering Health to live out their commitment to improve the lives of those in the communities they serve.

Kettering Health physicians and the Kettering Adventist church teamed up to teach members and the community how to live healthier lives. 

Cardiologist Harvey Hahn, MD, has a strong passion for healthy living and promoting a healthy lifestyle. So much so, he created a community initiative called Health Night. Health Night is a series of health-related talks Dr. Hahn started in late 2021. Since then, attendees have learned about intermittent fasting, exercise, sleep, skin, stress and anxiety, and building better habits.
